Music Videos (that I got to edit):
Rot System, by Ape War
Music video for the track ‘Rot System’, off a split EP
This is one ZOOM meeting you’re going to be glad you stayed home for. Prepare your soul for the relaxing and dulcet tones of “Rot System”, off the soon-to-be released split EP with our Vancity pals, NEEDS. Be sure to have a warm beer (+ your keys) handy in order to play along and embrace full wabi-sabi/zen.
Hack It Off, by Ape War
Music vid for the track ‘Hack It Off’, off of the record ‘War Ape’.
We shot this sucker in the jamspace with our cellphones, just like Fellini would have wanted. Jon rented a fog machine, which made other bands annoyed (it really stinks and maybe they thought there was a fire?). Joe wore a GoPro on his head for ‘totally Xtreme first person drumming’. Dylan used a tiny mic and fake screamed his face off.
Johnny Utah, by Heavy Days
Point Break ’91 and Point Break 2015, forced to reconcile their differences and live together simultaneously in one video. As expected, Point Break ’91 steps forward into truth and assumes the more visible spectrum of light. But, united as one, they conform to/and compliment the sonics of Heavy Days. Point Broken.
“Fear causes hesitation, and hesitation will cause your worst fears to come true.” ~Bodhi
Witch Child, by Futur Tits
This music video is a recontextualization of the amazing unfinished short film “The Witch’s Cradle” by Maya Deren.
